Mahj With Susan is a family-run business in Cumming, Georgia, where handmade Mahjong racks are crafted by five family members across two generations: father-in-law John (an experienced woodworker of 40+ years) leads the woodworking with Susan and her husband Andy, while their mothers, Linda and Gail, sew the protective bags. Each rack is cut, shaped, sanded, and finished by hand from raw wood, making every piece unique, and the whole process reflects the passing down of skills and traditions from one generation to the next, mirroring the connection and togetherness that Mahjong itself represents.
